A lot of people ask me what I do with the donations I receive. Usually, I turn it into a fabulous recreation, but sometimes there are those things that I simply can not use. Sooo, I continue the circle, and donate them to Goodwill or another non-profit community based thrift store.
I am also trying to find a place to recycle fabric scraps. I've heard that carpet pads can be made from them. Does anybody know anything about this? Or who I might contact? Meanwhile I have bags full of tiny scraps filling up my studio space!

I bought a book about making old t-shirts into other things, and at the very end they make things with smaller and smaller pieces of the fabric. On the last page they made earrings out of 2 contrasting little squares hung on an ear wire. They were very fem and cute, drapey. I've been wanting to make some myself, but I can't seem to keep track of the scraps. Maybe I could scan the page for you, it might be fun to put a few pairs in your shop. Yes, no?
