This year for Valentine's Day I was single for the first time in many many years.... So I decided to be my own sweetheart! I've never been a fan of the whole business around Valentine's Day- that you only love someone if you get them a dozen red roses and a mushy glittery heart card. But flowers are nice, and so in the spirit of loving myself I got exactly what I wanted. Purple tulips for my table, and a 'Twinkle' orchid for my bedroom. And strawberries. I do have an admirer though!
True, Sam is only 6, but it was lovely to get a card!
