Yellow Fever

Maybe it's the season, maybe it's because I just painted my kitchen a blueish gray, or maybe it's just a passing phase, but every treasure I've found in thrift stores lately have been YELLOW:

A new sugar bowl- I love changing them out with my moods!

(Please pardon the ugly countertop)

A cute puddle jumper to brighten up the walls

And a yellow teapot. I love the shape of it.

(Again, the countertop... Oh how I curse living in a rental sometimes!)

Even my craft projects are starting to veer over the yellow lines:
It is really easy to make, if you feel like giving it a try.
Materials needed: liquid starch, a balloon, string of some sort (I used a few things of yellow embroidery floss).
How-to: Dip the string in liquid starch and wrap it around and around and around the balloon until you are happy with how it looks. Let it dry. Pop the balloon. Hang it up and admire!

We finally got some snow. Ok, it's not just some, more like a lot! I tried to rescue my sweet daffodils that have been popping up like crazy. They seem a little droopy, but are still a cheery contrast to the blizzard outside!
