BIG move!

I think that there should be some government assistance when artists are required to move, sort of like a disability. I don't know about other creatives, but I accumulate so much STUFF. Everything has the potential to be a great masterpiece, so I have to keep it for when the inspiration kicks in! Right? And in my last apartment there were so many holes in the walls from hanging pictures (and then changing my mind or putting a different one up!) I had to devote a chunk of time to filling them with toxic spackle.
Now three weeks later, many late nights, a lot of help from the caring people in my life (thanks Dad and Paul! thanks Shannon, Todd, Dorian and Jake! thanks mom!), we're barely starting to settle into our new place. I would show you a picture of the mountainous stacks of boxes but I misplaced my camera cord somewhere...

A lot of people ask me what I do with the donations I receive. Usually, I turn it into a fabulous recreation, but sometimes there are those things that I simply can not use. Sooo, I continue the circle, and donate them to Goodwill or another non-profit community based thrift store.
I am also trying to find a place to recycle fabric scraps. I've heard that carpet pads can be made from them. Does anybody know anything about this? Or who I might contact? Meanwhile I have bags full of tiny scraps filling up my studio space!

Gertrude the 3-leg inaudible elephant

I made these postcard for a new project I'm involved with called .POST DUE. (click here to check it out and/or sign up yourself!)
It is great fun- You sign up on their mailing list, receive a postcard, and then make & send one back. The guy must have such a huge collection now. I like the idea of making tiny little art projects every month-- And I love the idea of receiving one. Who doesn't love to get mail? I'm thinking of sending out something like this to my mailing list-- so get on it! You'll receive a very special card handmade from recycled materials from ME! email me at anne@reloveprojects.com.
PS- Thank you to Oh-The-Cuteness for the muse! (Check out the blog here)

Brilliant!

I am so thrilled with this new product we are making! It is a bracelet/pincushion so that you will never need to search for it, move it with you, and won't sit on it by accident (I learned that one the hard way- ouch!). We have a few available, but many more in the works.
Please email me if you would like to special order one at anne@reloveprojects.com
